Beginners Courses
Before becoming a member of Quantum Archers, we require each person to complete an archery beginners course. The course we run consists of 6 sessions in which you will be taught the basics of archery, range etiquette and safety. Upon completion of the course you will have the opportunity to join the club. We cater our courses to your requirements, No fixed start dates, and flexible attendance. Our courses are run by Archery GB qualified intructors, who are DBS checked, and we provide all the equipment required for the course.
The course incorporates the following:
- Bow use and Bow types
- Range Safety
- Warm up excercises
- Shooting Techniques
Please contact our club secretary for further details and pricing.
The date of the next planned course will be shown in the Calendar.
If you have already completed a beginners course through another club, we will require to see the certificate of completion alongside an observational assesment before being offered membership.
Have-A-Go Session
If you are unsure if you want to complete the beginners course, you are welcome to a ‘have-a-go’ session. There is a small fee for this session. Should you decide to complete the beginners course following this session, then the price of the have-a-go will be deducted from the beginners course fee. Please contact the club secretary before attending any sessions so we can ensure equipment is available for you, and anyone in your party, to use.
